Your Majesty Queen Erica,

I don't have the confidence to do it alone. I hope they start an organization like yours in Texas. You truly are the most beautiful of queens, continue reigning over Georgia!

P.S. I don't know how people react in public, but I sincerely hope everyone bows in the presence of true royalty inside and out! The most humble and beautiful Queen is the most regal queen!

Karen, Thank you for the Royal question. I strongly recommend that you purchase a tiara or two and start to wear them whenever you feel the need. Invite others to join you, if you so choose. We are based in Savannah, GA--but you can be monarch where ever you happen to reign. All hail.

I love the Queen of Hearts. Clothes inspired by cards would be aomswee...acutally kind of suprised no one has thought to run up some fabric like that. Why oh why can't we all have textile factories in our back yards?

This is really upnfitilg *sigh* I dont like that I have this problem and I try to keep things in perspective because I know the world doesn't revovle around myself but at times I just get the feeling that everyone is looking at me and judging me for my every mistake, it makes it hard to even interact with people without being even in the least anxious. This is upnfitilg though and I will def turn my problems to the Lord because at this point he is the only one that can help me. Thanks for the post and your helping people like us by just talking about your situations and giving us all courage.

I haven't had a full-blown panic attack in years, but I remember them well. I usually had them either driving (yikes! Pull off the road ASAP) or standing in line to pay for something. I once left a cart full of food in the grocery store when I felt a panic coming on. I'm sorry to hear about your anxiety. You write a good story though. Really good. I like the way you wrap it up, revisiting the spinach. Queens have anxiety too, I'm sure. Being royal is hard work, right?

Pam, I am lucky too. Lumpectomy 2 years ago and radiation. The anxiety attack I wrote about was more about me just sharing my challenges. If all I have to fear is looking silly, then I have nothing to fear. If the worse thing that can happen is passing out...well...bring it. The fear of being embarrassed, failing, being judged, or just looking silly stops some people from testing their limits and I am working on not talking myself too seriously. Life is full off FUN and Joy and Laughing at my foibles helps me put things in perspective.
I did not know Susan very well, however her spirit and kindness are widely known. She touched many people's lives.

That scenario.....doing a biopsy for a lump...is downright scary. When it happened to me, Susan Harrison (yes, the Rev., who was a dear friend) insisted on accompanying me to the "result"conference, as she said I would not remember anything and needed someone to write down what the physician actually SAID. She was so right! It WAS a malignancy, but fortunately I had to endure only a lumpectomy and radiation twelve years ago, and so far, so good. Susan, on the other hand, fought a losing battle with HER breast cancer for many years. I will never forget her generosity of spirit and her "being there" in my time of panic and confusion.
